As part of the Principals & Teachers Meet 2025–26, Parul® University organized a *Workshop on Mentoring and Career Counselling Techniques* to strengthen educators’ roles in guiding students through academic planning and career decision-making. The workshop offered insights into modern mentoring approaches, student engagement strategies, and effective career counselling practices.
In recognition of their successful participation and dedication to student development, the prestigious Career Educationist Award was conferred upon Mr. Vikramjeet Singh Bhandari and Miss Deepika Lalla of SDMP School. Jammu, [13 DECEMBER 2025]: Rohit and Sachin attended an orientation programme on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics held at ASIA Hotel, Jammu. The programme aimed to spread awareness about emerging technologies and their growing importance in education, industry, and everyday life.
The orientation session focused on the basics of AI and Robotics, their real-world applications, and future career opportunities for students and young professionals. Experts and resource persons shared valuable insights into how these technologies are transforming sectors such as healthcare, education, manufacturing, and smart automation.
Rohit and Sachin actively participated in the session and interacted with experts, gaining practical knowledge and exposure to advanced technological concepts. Their presence reflected a keen interest in modern innovations and skill-based learning.

We are delighted to announce that Ranbir Singh, a talented student of S.D.M.P. Higher Secondary School, Karwanda, has brought laurels to the institution by winning the Gold Medal in Wrestling at the Inter-District UT Level Championship held at the Indoor Stadium, Doda.
Ranbir’s outstanding performance and dedication have made the school and the entire district proud. His achievement is a testament to his hard work, discipline, and the constant support of his coaches and teachers.

SDMP School Rally on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
S.D.M.P Higher Secondary School organized a grand Swachh Bharat Rally to spread awareness about cleanliness and hygiene in the community. Students, teachers, and staff actively participated, holding banners, placards, and raising slogans to inspire people to keep their surroundings clean. The rally aimed to highlight the importance of proper sanitation, waste management, and the collective responsibility of citizens in making India clean and green.
The enthusiastic participation of students reflected their commitment towards the vision of Mahatma Gandhi and the mission of our Hon’ble Prime Minister. S.D.M.P Higher Secondary School (Karwanda) proudly announces that its students actively participated in the Red Ribbon Quiz Competition organized under the Intensified IEC Campaign 2025 for HIV/AIDS Awareness, sponsored by the J&K Board of School Education (JKBOSE).
The quiz aimed to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS, encourage healthy practices, and build social responsibility among students. Our participants showcased excellent knowledge, confidence, and enthusiasm, reflecting the school’s commitment to nurturing socially aware and responsible citizens.
